Biography: I grew up in Tipton, Indiana. Tipton is a town in central Indiana close to Indianapolis. In school my favorite class was always Physical Education and I had some great P.E. teachers at Tipton Middle School and Tipton High School when I was growing up. After graduating high school I eventually moved to Pensacola Beach, Florida and graduated from the University of West Florida. I loved going to college in a place where I could live a few miles from the Gulf of Mexico and the beach. When I wasn't in class I was always surfing, stand-up paddleboarding or hanging out with friends from UWF. When I left Pensacola I moved North Carolina and coached Women's College Basketball for a season at Pfeiffer University. After that season at Pfeiffer I began my Master's Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University in Irvine, California. Irvine is a great city in Southern California located right next to Los Angeles, both cities are in Orange County, CA. I am currently only 3 classes away from finishing my Master's Degree and I am able to finish the last 3 classes online so I am back in North Carolina working on this TeacherReady Program.
